 Or grey overcast days that make some of us feel blue. 

It can be dark or light, distressed or plain. 

Its not a trend or a phase one goes through, rather a staple they turn to

It's timeless.   

If you're new to it don't be scared

pair contrasting hues to create your desired blue

dark and light are quite a sight when placed side by side.

Allow the two pieces to come together and form a confidence inside of you, you never knew you had. Simple at best, dare you try it ?

Goodbye Sego, Hello Massy's World

Hey all!!

CH CH CHANGE! Yes my home dawgs I have changed my blogs name goodbye Sego hello Massy's World! For those who foolishly don't follow me on my other social media platforms this is very new to you! On my YouTube Channel and Instagram account I go by Massy's World, I'm really not sure why I didn't follow suit with my blog but now I've come to my senses and changed it, now across all social media platforms your home girl will be known as Massy's World. Stay tuned and groovy cause you've got another thing coming......

NOW ONTO THE BLOG POST!!!

If you read my last blog post you would have seen that I cut my hair, but one thing I didn't talk about was the ordeal that took place post hair cut, mind you I loved my hair cut, it was a drastic change from my afro but it was a change I needed. 

Change can be tough to cope with, it may hit you like the forgotten 3000 word essay due on monday on sunday as you tuck yourself in for bed...tough.

 Its not always accepted with open arms it may take time to adjust to

In certain situations it may be needed, yet we with limited vision do not see

failing to realise the full potential it holds 

Never be too quick to speak at the wake of change rather wait, meditate and let fate take its course 

This hair cut took some adjusting to, its a change that I need but at first I rejected it even considered cutting it all off...all I can say is that I'm finally realising the power of the mind.

FORMAL 2015

Hey old friend!

Long time no chat aye, well all I have to say is that in the last two months I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions. Its been three weeks now since I graduated yes I graduated, Im done I've been set free from the chain of high school well nearly (just have to sit my exams). This schooling year has been one of many lessons and I honestly wanted to give up so many times during the year but I'm glad I stuck it through until the end its been a tough one but filled with a lot of good memories.

Day of graduation was bittersweet, I tell you what it didn't feel real until the night time graduation ceremony when the first person in my grade received their graduation certificate I started to well up, I realised I made it, right now typing this I still feel really emotional. Its weird during this year I just wanted it to end but now thats its come to an end Im a bit upset, but obviously looking foreword to the future. Thats enough of that talk now on to FORMALLL!!!!

Formal Day

Prior to formal I asked a lot of people in the older grades how formal was for them and everyone I asked said it was good but towards the end it got boring, after hearing that I was determined to make sure that my formal was bomb! And it was, formal was one of the best nights of my year!!!  Hope you enjoy this blog post! All outfit details are listed at the end of the blog post :).

My friends look SO good! So blessed to have been able to do life with these amazing girls, honestly I wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way!!

M.I.A Doesn't even begin to describe what I have been right! I would say I'm sorry but I don't think it would be a sincere apology as I have not been well, fact Im still not well and I've had trial exams for the past four weeks BUT its all over (The exams) my major exams start in six weeks *waves arms around excitedly* OH I also have formal and graduation in three weeks ?!?! Can you believe I graducate in THREE WEEKS, I knew it would happen but you just never really see the end until now its so close. Any way I am blabbing and I really want ya'll to see this new video so with tat said

Ummm major EEEEPP I love this video so much,  Ive watched it so many times. I just love that I'm getting better at editing. I have another OOTD Blog post and video planned but its bucketing down with rain as I write this, so hopefully over the weekend the rain can hold off and give me just two hours to get my life together so yall can get some inspiration. Remember Don't Hate Embrace I love you all very much and in the coming weeks I have some very interesting blog posts coming up, that are NOT fashion related, yes yes I'm Switching things up a bit on here.

Lady In Red

Hey all!

Hope you're all well! This is my last week of "Holidays" and its been good to be away from school, but as the saying goes all good things must come to an end. Hope that those who are on summer break are enjoying it thoroughly and if you've returned to school today that you're day was better than......I got nothing ahah.


Now onto the blog post

   LADY IN RED

This outfit came about when I was as per usual dancing around in my room at one am in the morning, with Kanye on a solid three bars of volume (Dont want to wake the family). I put the dress on and thought, its cute and simple then with the shoes and the denim jacket I felt like I should've been in America cause It was giving me strong 4th of July vibes. 

Its winter here and you may be thinking this is highly inappropriate but its actually perfect, well somedays it is. Here in Sydney the weather is bipolar for lack of a better word. Don't be fooled by my smile, it was bitterly cold (ahaha) the temperature was 14 degrees Celsius! Yeah yeah I know thats nothing for all of you that live in colder parts of the world but for Sydney its something alright.
